So, does this kit need color correction like it’s other Cross Silhouette brethren? Yes, of course. I’d be shocked if it didn’t.
But it turns out it’s not nearly as bad. I managed to get most of the work, including painting, done in a single long build session. In my experience that’s usually not possible if the build needs a lot of color correction, since at a certain point you need to stop and let things dry.
In fact, I’d say that this was one of the most pleasant and rewarding build processes I’ve had in a while. one that served as a needed palette cleanser after my most recent debacle.
