I’m so sorry it took me so long to shoot these G Gundam models. First it was Dragon Gundam and now it’s God Gundam.

Though interestingly, the reasons for both delays are different. For Dragon, ultimately the problem was that it was too much of a pain in the ass to properly pose. In the case of God Gundam, the problem is that it’s so pretty that I was too afraid I might break something.

After ten months (ten!), I took some photos of Dragon Gundam. Not many photos, mind you, but it still counts.

And in doing so, I was finally reminded of why I never got around to doing so back in February.

Yes, I know it’s been only two days since my introductory post. What can I say? It was a simple build! See for yourself:

But here’s the thing - one of the reasons why it’s so simple is because it is so well engineered.

I’ve got a fever, and the only prescription is more G Gundam models:

I’ve mentioned the Nobel Gundam quite a few times in the past (including very recently, but now I finally get to build it. And not just any version of the Nobel, but its special Berserker form.

Two things can be true:

I said some harsh things about this model kit, and I still stand by them
Despite those flaws, this model was still really fun to pose

Just like the Dragon Gundam, it took until December 2025 to finally take photos of God Gundam. I’m backdating this post to September, so that anyone reading through the previous build posts will now know the photos are finally done, and that you can find them here.

There’s not much to say about the runners here. It’s a perfectly cromulent pile of parts for a Real Grade:

As is now tradition, the kit comes with a tiny little runner with some prebuilt inner framing, just so that they can still brag about it on the box. In this case, it looks like it’s used in the arms.
